Senior Data Analyst

The data team at Rovio plays a crucial role in enhancing games by converting raw data into insightful findings. The Senior Data Analyst will support the Angry Birds 2 team by using data-driven insights to steer game feature development and improvement.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the feature development team to plan and evaluate new game features.
• Provide technical insight to decision-making processes by mining raw data.
• Design and conduct A/B testing to boost game performance and user satisfaction.
• Develop dashboards and reports for game team analysis.
• Explore data for opportunities to enhance gameplay.
• Work with Data Analysts, Product Managers, and Designers to refine game metric interpretation.
• Share best practices with colleagues across the company.

This role requires you to have:

• High proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency in Python or R
• Understanding of statistics including hypothesis testing and regression
• Experience designing experiments and A/B testing
• Excellent presentation and collaboration skills
• Experience with mobile games or apps with large audiences
