In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead development of machine learning models and statistical analyses to identify security threats.
• Design and optimize SIEM solutions in Splunk and Elastic Search.
• Collaborate with the security operations team to integrate data insights into incident response strategies.
• Manage diverse data integration into SIEM systems for effective analysis.
• Develop algorithms for threat detection and anomaly identification.
• Mentor junior data scientists and engineers.
• Stay updated on trends in data science, cybersecurity, and SIEM systems.

This role requires you to have:

• 10+ years of experience in data science, with 3 years in SIEM engineering.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data science libraries.
• Proven experience with machine learning techniques.
