Accuity is hiring a HIM Data Analyst to collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Operations team. This role is pivotal in collecting and analyzing data from various sources to support revenue cycle data optimization. The team values precision and clarity in presenting data insights across the organization.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Participate in special projects, analyzing and trending data.
• Combine data from various reporting sources to identify valuable trends.
• Translate complex analytics into actionable insights.
• Perform data entry and update demographic information.
• Validate MS-DRGs and APR-DRGs for various claims.
• Understand Accuity's and clients' technology and workflows.
• Track billing statuses and outcomes, reporting them clearly.
• Prepare communications, reports, and records confidentially.
• Provide feedback on specific encounter outcomes and opportunities.
• Meet department goals and attend meetings as required.

This role requires you to have:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of medical billing codes and insurance policies

You would benefit from having:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration
• Experience with PBAR, ACE, and/or FinThrive applications
• Advanced knowledge of APR and MS DRG reimbursement models
• HFMA certification
• CRCR certification

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is crucial. The role demands an understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes and compliance issues. The candidate should be a professional role model and maintain confidentiality.
