Amazon Lab126 is at the forefront of developing technologies for Alexa, seeking a skilled Data Engineer to enhance and maintain data pipelines for Alexa Excellence. This role is integral to navigating challenging environments to optimize data access and consumption across large datasets.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Support data pipelines and engineering for Alexa Excellence products.
• Build and optimize logical data models and data pipelines.
• Ensure ongoing data quality, efficiency, testing, and maintenance.
• Advise technical program managers and engineers on data solutions.
• Design, implement, and deliver large-scale data solutions.

This role requires you to have:

• Data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency in a scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience mentoring team members
