Amazon Lab126 is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to spearhead efforts in protecting customer data across their Devices and Services Trust and Privacy division. As a key part of the Trust Fundamentals organization, this role emphasizes leadership in privacy analytics, technical controls, and collaborative projects with AI and LLM teams to safeguard customer data.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop data products, infrastructures, and pipelines utilizing AWS services such as Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, and Lambda.
• Create new data models and pipelines based on program requirements.
• Design and implement automated controls to manage privacy and trust risks.
• Support privacy program reporting through operational metrics.
• Provide technical and leadership guidance in Data Engineering and Business Intelligence.

This role requires you to have:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling and ETL pipeline development
• Proficiency in SQL
• Expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
