In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Create and modify logical and physical database models.
• Produce Data Definition Language (DDL) for SQL databases.
• Develop and refine SQL queries, updates, inserts, and deletes.
• Maintain data objects like stored procedures and views.
• Analyze and profile data sources to inform architecture decisions.
• Create source-to-target mapping documents defining transformations and rules.
• Support integration developers and QA analysts in testing and developing Azure Pipelines.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and data governance policies.
• Define and promote internal and industry data service standards.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with data modeling tools, data mapping, and SQL scripting.
• 5+ years of experience with data profiling, gap analysis, and impact analysis.
• Knowledge of relational, master data, and data warehouse concepts.
• Proficiency in data modeling for transactional and dimensional databases.
• Expertise in SQL databases, including SQL Server DBMS.
• Understanding of data quality and governance tools and methods.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

You would benefit from having:

• Hands-on experience with Python programming.
• Knowledge of real-time analytics and BI platforms like Tableau.
• Experience with Azure Cloud platform and data components.
• Working knowledge of Hadoop platforms and components like Hive, Hbase, or Impala.
