Project Data Analyst

American Electric Power is looking for a dedicated Project Data Analyst to maintain data accuracy and integrity within their primary Project Management systems. This role is integral to the Quality Planning, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control efforts within the company. The position requires gathering and integrating large data volumes, performing analysis, interpreting results, and developing recommendations to optimize project management processes.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Ensure data integrity during entry and provide scheduled and ad-hoc reports to project management.
• Collaborate with IT Support for data correction activities and monitor project quality management systems.
• Recommend and implement quality improvements and work with teams to monitor process integrity.
• Conduct data analytics and procedure alignments for audits and measure performance metrics.
• Support continuous improvement and training within the organization and maintain project management standards.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields.
• Minimum of four years of experience with data analytics and statistical software like SQL, R, Python, Excel, and Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
