In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Develop data models for predictive analytics to support asset repair and replacement decisions.
  • Identify and integrate new data points to enhance predictive models.
  • Automate assessments and calculations for asset evaluation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering management to align data analytics with departmental needs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and suggest proactive maintenance strategies.
  • Design dashboards and visualizations to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Administer a data analytics tools and reporting governance model.
  • Ensure quality control in data analytics systems for continuous improvement.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • Six years of experience in data analytics for enterprise asset management.
  • Expertise in SQL and data visualization with Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Python or R.
  • Strong communication skills across technological spectra.

You would benefit from having:

  • Familiarity with railroad infrastructure asset management.
  • Experience with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS).
