Product Analyst - Travel/Renters Insurance

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is looking for a Product Analyst with a keen understanding of insurance product management. The role exists to ensure compliance, develop proprietary insurance products, and guide the implementation of policy forms. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to manage product lines effectively.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Revise and create company insurance policies and forms.
• Monitor regulatory and legal changes impacting business and policy language.
• Perform market and product competitive analysis.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Underwriting, and Actuarial on DOI objections.
• Maintain a database of approved forms and advise on their use.
• Understand state-specific reporting requirements with Finance.
• Inform underwriting teams of regulatory and market changes.
• Update underwriting on coverage form and rate revisions.
• Research legislative questions related to forms.
• Implement approved forms with IT, Compliance, and Actuary.
• Develop guidelines, rules, and processes for underwriting.
• Interpret policy language and compile enhancements for filings.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years in product development.
• Insurance product knowledge, especially in Commercial and Personal Lines.
• High integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret judicial rulings on insurance forms.
• Compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Independent and team working capability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
