Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA), with over 60 years of expertise in aerospace engineering and analytics, is seeking a Financial Data Analyst. This role is pivotal as it supports AMA's diverse operations at NASA Langley Research Center and involves significant interaction with multiple stakeholders, enhancing business processes linked to finance and accountability.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with program managers and multiple departments including finance, HR, and procurement.
• Analyze data for report updates and develop ad hoc reports.
• Manage tasks in Costpoint, including vendor setup and project initiation.
• Track expenses ensuring they align with budgets.
• Assist with accounts payable and manage subcontractor invoicing.
• Prepare account analyses and monthly reports.
• Support budget forecasting and identify financial discrepancies.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, including data modeling and pivot tables.
• Strong communication skills.
