In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop machine learning algorithms for genomic data analysis.
• Collaborate with geneticists and engineers to solve computational biology challenges.
• Conduct data manipulation and modeling using Python.
• Deploy machine learning models via AWS SageMaker.
• Implement ETL processes using AWS Glue.
• Analyze data using AWS Athena and Amazon S3.
• Stream data with AWS Kinesis Data Firehose.
• Process datasets with Amazon EMR.
• Interpret DNA sequence data for pattern discovery.
• Stay updated on advancements in computational biology and genomics.
• Communicate research findings through various mediums.

This role requires you to have:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with machine learning and biological data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and Linux Bash.
• Familiarity with AWS tools such as SageMaker, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, and EMR.
• Understanding of genetics and DNA analysis.
• Bioinformatics tool and database knowledge.
• Statistical method application in biology.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
