Data Analyst - Contractual

Anne Arundel County offers a unique opportunity for a Data Analyst in a contractual role, where one will contribute significantly to the Police Department. This position involves working closely with department employees to enhance data reporting and analysis. The analyst will interact with county employees at various levels to ensure the successful implementation of data-driven insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with non-technical users to gather reporting requirements
• Develop new reports adhering to the department’s needs and technical best practices
• Create ad hoc SQL database queries for report generation
• Modify and enhance existing queries and reports as required

This role requires you to have:

• Working knowledge of databases and their integration with other platforms
• MS SQL Server Programming and Database knowledge
• Ability to author custom SQL data queries
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

You would benefit from having:

• Tableau experience
