Data Analyst I

AtlantiCare is looking for a Data Analyst to contribute to their mission of advancing patient safety and quality within the FQHC. The role involves generating comprehensive reports and analyses to support healthcare services and ensure the integrity of Patient Centered Medical Homes. Team members collaborate closely with clinical staff and grant managers to enhance healthcare outcomes.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design interactive reports and update code using Discern Explorer (CCL), SQL, CSS, JavaScript, and HealtheAnalytics.
• Transform data from databases into accessible dashboards for staff.
• Manage the schedule for running reports, including dashboards and grant reports.
• Document report methodologies to clarify data architecture, schemes, and algorithms.
• Work with leadership and committees to maintain data authenticity.
• Create and distribute monthly data reports tracking departmental metrics.
• Collaborate with Health IT Specialists to sync data fields and updates.
• Participate in meetings focused on optimizing data quality.
• Audit data for accuracy and completeness.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in related fields
• Experience in computer science, healthcare analytics, or informatics
• Hands-on experience with data reporting tools
• Familiarity with EHR systems like Cerner
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team
