Auto Fit, Inc. is looking for an adept Data Scientist to join their Purchasing Department. This role is pivotal in employing data analytics and machine learning to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and drive cost reductions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing data-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration for supply chain refinement.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop predictive models for demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Create and maintain data pipelines and dashboards for supplier performance monitoring.
- Provide actionable insights and reports to senior management.
- Implement machine learning algorithms for supplier evaluation and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with procurement teams for data-driven recommendations.
- Automate data processes for improved efficiency.
- Utilize statistical analysis for assessment of market trends and purchasing decisions.
- Integrate data solutions with existing ERP and procurement systems.
- Support cross-functional teams for effective data utilization.

The position requires a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
