As part of the Originations Data Team, the role of Senior Data Engineer is key to pioneering new technologies and enhancing data-driven strategies. This position exists to transform data pipelines and harness insightful analytics, aiming to meet real customer needs while empowering business development.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable, low-latency streaming data platforms.
• Develop next-generation distributed streaming data pipelines using Flink, Spark Streaming, and languages such as Java, Scala, and Python.
• Craft data pipelines utilizing big data technologies like Spark, Kafka, and Snowflake, integrated with AWS services.
• Collaborate in an agile, creative environment focused on CI/CD and application resiliency.
• Engage in technical communities and mentor other engineers.
• Work collaboratively to design, develop, and support full-stack technical solutions.
• Participate in unit testing and performance tuning.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of experience in application development
• 1 year of experience in big data technologies

You would benefit from having:

• 5+ years in application development with Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
• Experience with AWS or other public cloud services
• 3+ years with distributed data computing tools like Kafka and Spark
• Experience with real-time data applications
• Experience in NoSQL implementations
• Data warehousing with Redshift or Snowflake
• UNIX/Linux experience with basic commands and shell scripting
• Agile engineering practices
