In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Utilize genotype and workflow data for DNA genotyping processes.
• Develop automated data pipelines and visualization tools using R, R-Shiny, Spotfire, and SQL.
• Support enhancement and troubleshooting of analytics dashboards.
• Collaborate with teams to propose new analytics projects.
• Optimize genotyping processes with mathematical/statistical models.
• Present validated insights to drive changes across the organization.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years experience.
• Experience in statistics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, genomics, computational biology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in R/Python, SQL/PostgreSQL, APIs, Spotfire, and Github.
• Strong computational skills and ability to work autonomously.

You would benefit from having:

• Knowledge of genotyping labs and genomics data.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.

This position can be based in Chesterfield, MO or Ankeny, IA. It is part of the Crop Science Division.
