In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with experts and analysts to transform operational processes and enhance data assets.
  • Design and implement data and analytic solutions for underwriting, claims, and operations using predictive modeling and data management.
  • Lead the development and execution of information delivery strategies, including enterprise data platforms and analytics.
  • Drive technology strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring scalable and adaptable architecture.
  • Develop internal process improvements, automate procedures, and optimize data delivery and dataOps.
  • Work with insurance product managers to create solutions that protect numerous businesses and workers.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science, or Data Analytics.
  • Five years of experience in roles such as Data Analyst, Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, Software Developer, or consultant.
  • Experience in application architecture and design for commercial insurance data structures.
  • Proficiency in data wrangling, large datasets, and data acquisition and mining.

You would benefit from having:

  • Experience with synthetic and augmented data.
  • Knowledge of statistical design, ML/AI, NLP, and human-in-the-loop approaches.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, and techniques for advanced analytic dashboards and charting.
