In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, document, implement, and maintain database utilities.
- Conduct expert-level database analysis and design reviews.
- Perform research to develop or modify database structures.
- Collaborate with vendors to assess product quality and compatibility.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of vendor-developed databases.
- Contribute technical input for project planning.
- Maintain RDBMS software at vendor-supported levels.
- Complete additional assigned tasks as needed.

- Thorough understanding of database fundamentals.
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Oracle Grid Control, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Goldengate.
- Proficiency with database upgrade and migration.
You would benefit from having:
- Familiarity with CDB/PDB multitenant architecture.
- Experience with Unix flavors such as AIX/SOLARIS/LINUX.
- Knowledge of RMAN backup and recovery processes.
