Senior Data Analyst (FT- 1.0 FTE, REMOTE POSSIBILITY)

Big Sky Medical Center is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to enhance and develop their quantitative capabilities by utilizing extensive data sets. The role involves acting as a business intelligence consultant, supporting cross-functional teams with analyses, and developing strategies to support key initiatives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Model complex clinical business problems using statistical, algorithmic, and visualization techniques.
• Resolve data challenges with advanced SQL queries and educate others on best practices.
• Perform customized complex statistical analysis.
• Design subject area marts to support analytical needs.
• Facilitate data operating system validation processes.
• Conduct data mining to develop actionable insights.
• Create dynamic data visualizations to communicate analysis results.
• Define data metrics and key performance indicators.
• Provide leadership in data construction and analysis execution.
• Design training sessions to develop analytical skills.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical field.
• 3+ years experience in a technical, statistical role.
• Advanced SQL skills with knowledge of relational databases.
• Epic certification within 6 months.

You would benefit from having:

• Master’s Degree in a technical field.
• 5 years experience in healthcare-related analytics.
• Experience with EHR data, preferably Epic/Clarity.
