This role within the Advana team involves creating data pipelines and ensuring data accuracy as part of mission-critical services. The position supports financial analysis teams within the Department of Defense's PPBE Reform Commission.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with analysts and product leaders to implement data solutions.
• Optimize and build data pipelines for efficient performance.
• Manage and troubleshoot data pipelines with data engineers.
• Develop validation processes aligned with business goals.
• Assist in machine learning and data visualization projects.
• Continuously enhance data solutions to meet customer needs.
• Coordinate with teams to achieve objectives.

This role requires you to have:

• DOD Secret clearance or higher.
• 11+ years of experience in Data Science.
• Proficiency in SQL and Big Data ETL technologies like NiFi or StreamSets.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with PPBE.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java.

You would benefit from having:

The role requires at least one day per week in the Crystal City or McLean, VA office, and candidates must be in the DC Metro area. Experience with DOD or IC is required.
