In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Implement machine learning models individually or with junior scientists by gathering data from multiple sources.
  • Conduct data cleansing and enrichment.
  • Prepare modeling datasets and select features.
  • Evaluate and report on model performance.
  • Ensure models are deployed correctly and maintain runtime monitoring.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and engineering teams for solution development.
  • Utilize data for pattern recognition and hypothesis testing.
  • Prepare sales materials and discuss hardware needs.
  • Participate in client meetings to explain functionalities.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of Python programming experience.
  • Understanding of data science and deep learning.
  • Experience with Pandas, NumPy, Keras, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL or other query languages.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies like Snowflake and Apache Spark.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure or GCP.
  • Knowledge of modern software development tools and practices like Git and Docker.

You would benefit from having:

  • Guidance experience for junior data scientists.
  • Knowledge of tools like Kafka, Redis, and Cassandra.
