SpecPro Professional Services seeks a proactive Data Scientist to contribute to the Air Force Civil Engineer Center’s Asset Management Framework. The selected individual will collaborate with the Built Infrastructure team to enhance asset management strategies and work alongside Air Force Product Lines to advance real property asset management.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze key data from Accountable Property Systems of Record.
  • Analyze infrastructure data and aggregate asset performance predictions from SMS.
  • Support database tool integration and report development for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate on database analysis for real property requirements validation and updates.
  • Manage large APSR datasets and report compilation across multiple projects.
  • Assist in the improvement and validation of property requirement processes.
  • Enhance data quality within Civil Engineer IT systems through quality assurance checks.
  • Resolve technical and programmatic challenges.
  • Develop professional graphs, charts, and comparative analyses.
  • Produce detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Conduct training and data quality analysis at USAF locations.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of Exploratory Data Analysis.
  • Knowledge of regression modeling and Python or R coding.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently develop deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills.

You would benefit from having:

  • Experience with Air Force SMS Systems like BUILDER, PAVER.
  • Knowledge of Tableau and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Air Force database structures.
  • Customer service experience in a contractor setting.
  • Air Force background.
