The role involves joining the Musculoskeletal Digital Innovation and Informatics Program to support the creation of data pipelines. The team consists of experts in biomedical engineering, orthopedics, and data science, focusing on research and development of computational tools for clinical use.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop data processing pipelines and manage requests using various database and analytic technologies.
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes for data from electronic medical records.
- Troubleshoot and address pipeline issues, escalating complex problems to the team lead.
- Engage in discussions to identify and refine project requirements with team members.
- Collaborate with other data engineers on improvements and code reviews.
- Create and maintain documentation related to processes, database models, and workflows.

This role requires you to have:
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Python programming and data processing libraries.
- Experience with SQL and database querying.
- Ability to build dynamic visualizations and design ETL processes.
