Boston Medical Center is looking for a Data Analyst to support the Manager of Performance Improvement Analytics and the Administrative Director of Emergency Medicine. The role focuses on facilitating data-driven improvements in hospital operations and quality of care. The Analyst serves as a vital resource for clinicians, administrators, and staff, ensuring data accessibility and impactful use.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Data Warehouse team using SQL for data extraction.
• Create graphical reports using Tableau to meet diverse stakeholders' needs throughout BMC.
• Engage with BMC personnel to assess data requirements for managing clinical enterprises and quality enhancement activities.
• Provide actionable data using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
• Participate in quality improvement teams to fulfill data requirements for significant projects.
• Maintain and distribute dashboards and standard reports on hospital operations and patient safety.
• Enhance the processes of data visualization and reporting.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 4 years in delivering numerical data
• Proficiency in SQL or similar tools
• Advanced use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Tableau
• Organizational and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
