Data Analyst

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Data Analyst to collaborate with the Manager of Performance Improvement Analytics and the Administrative Director of Emergency Medicine. The role aims to enhance data accessibility and usability, improving hospital operations, quality of care, and patient outcomes. The team focuses on meeting the diverse informational needs across BMC.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the BMC Data Warehouse team to extract data using SQL.
• Create graphical reports for various BMC customers using Tableau.
• Consult with administrators, clinicians, and staff to determine data needs.
• Provide data in an accessible format using Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and support data requirements.
• Develop and distribute hospital operations and quality dashboards.
• Continuously improve data visualization and reporting processes.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.

This role requires you to have:

• Proficiency in SQL or similar analytic tools.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
