In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Use Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load (ETL) source data from agency sources
• Automate data staging by scheduling scripts for optimal system performance
• Create and maintain an ETL/Informatica architectural and system environment
• Perform domain/repository backups and recovery operations
• Implement ETL jobs by creating mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows
• Work with various ETL transformations and perform tasks such as aggregation, filtering, routing, and joining
• Schedule and monitor ETL/Informatica jobs in development, system testing, and production environment
• Develop proactive processes for capacity monitoring and performance tuning
• Support and advise development teams on technical issues
• Troubleshoot production support issues and provide solutions
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts for data mart creation in Teradata
• Participate in project discussions to document and recommend technical solutions
• Participate in unit, integration, and system testing
• Maintain effective communication and relationships with project stakeholders
• Continuously learn new technologies to enhance job performance
• Provide progress updates and deliverables to Optum's leadership and customers

This role requires you to have:

• Informatica PowerCenter / ETL Experience
• Complex SQL and Performance Tuning Experience
• Teradata Version 15+ experience, including Teradata Utilities
• ETL / Informatica PowerCenter administrative experience
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Experience with Unix Shell scripting
• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities
• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in a related field
• Adaptability to team and organizational culture
