Reporting and Data Analyst

This role focuses on supporting the university’s fundraising goals through advanced data analysis and reporting. The Reporting & Data Analyst will work closely with development officers and campaign managers, enabling data-driven decision-making and effective fundraising strategies.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Leverage Salesforce CRMA and Tableau for visual solutions to track fundraising metrics.
• Create insights to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and report templates with accessible UI/UX.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of fundraising data via regular audits.
• Collaborate with IT to enhance data collection and retrieval processes.
• Integrate data from CRM systems, financial databases, and external sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for customized reporting solutions.
• Present findings and insights to senior leadership and fundraising teams.
• Train fundraising staff on data analytics tools and best practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements for reporting and data analysis.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or reporting, preferably in fundraising or non-profit.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Salesforce CRMA), SQL, SAQL, and statistical analysis software (R, Python).
• Strong knowledge of fundraising metrics and campaign performance indicators.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Ascend) and database management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects.
