The Data Engineering team is crucial in constructing advanced data solutions for various applications including APIs, machine learning, and financial reporting.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and build new API integrations to manage increased data volume and complexity.
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to enhance data models for business intelligence tools and facilitate data-driven decisions.
- Implement monitoring systems to ensure high data quality and availability.
- Work with business units and engineering teams to develop long-term data platform strategies.
- Conduct root cause analysis on data and processes to address business inquiries and identify improvement opportunities.

This role requires you to have:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience with Python
- 5+ years experience with SQL
- 3+ years experience in schema design and data modeling
- 5+ years experience with AWS Cloud services
- 5+ years in data pipelines with PySpark, AWS Glue
- 5+ years agile software development
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with MSSQL, SSIS, SQL Studio
- Experience in cloud development (AWS, GCP)
- Experience in design and deployment of data lakes, data mesh, and streaming platforms
- Experience in data quality projects and public records
- Experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, AWS Redshift, AWS RDS
