Brown Brothers Harriman is hiring an FX Data and Analytics Analyst for their Foreign Exchange Trading Department at their global headquarters in New York. The role involves collaborating with various teams to advance data initiatives and analytics for the FX business. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support the existing ticker plant, real-time database, historical database, and gateways for FX business.
  • Extend the KDB data plant for business analytics and intelligence needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on new data science initiatives.
  • Develop tools for backtesting and simulating model performance.
  • Assess and automate requests for FX data using optimal software tools.
  • Attend client and vendor meetings to formulate solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and improve the mix of referential FX data.
  • Stay updated on FX industry initiatives and data technology trends.

This role requires you to have:

  • 4 year STEM degree from an accredited institution
  • 2+ years of KDB+ development experience
  • Understanding of KDB+ architecture
  • Strong Math and Statistics skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Genuine interest in global financial markets
