The position involves collaborating with the Risk and investing teams worldwide, aiming to enhance data architecture and management processes.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Execute projects on data architecture and management for new and existing data sources.
• Transition existing data sets and code to a new technology stack.
• Lead data analysis using machine learning techniques over time.
• Manage data ingestion and publishing for investment teams.
• Standardize, map, and normalize data sets.
• Conduct research on project topics like vendor trends and big data.
• Assess data loads for errors and create quality analysis workflows.
• Manage vendors and capture data input changes.
• Resolve data issues based on business priorities.
• Support strategic initiatives on big data projects for trading.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to understand data flow and architecture.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• 2+ years in SQL programming, data architecture, and dimension modeling.
• Experience in energy commodities or financial services.
• Skills in data mapping, standardizing, and normalizing.
• Advanced SQL optimization experience.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with data integration platforms, especially SnapLogic.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT frameworks for large-scale data loading.
• Knowledge of Snowflake or Oracle databases.
• Python proficiency with Pandas, Numpy, and Scikit.
