In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with users to collect requirements and design organization-wide reports.
  • Create and test reports, ad hoc requests, and dashboards.
  • Implement data extracts from enterprise database sources.
  • Develop SQL queries against sophisticated data models.
  • Provide ongoing support for production reporting environments.
  • Ensure compliance through quality data audits and analysis.
  • Understand technical requirements for data requests.
  • Work closely with various departments to migrate functionalities from test to production, adhering to change control standards.

    This role requires you to have:

    • Proficiency with SQL and query tools like Oracle, SAS, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Microsoft SQL, and Tableau.
    • Experience in reporting analysis and the development of custom reports.
    • Hands-on experience with patient care-oriented databases and hospital-based administrative database applications.
    • Knowledge of relational database technology and client-server applications.
    • Experience with SQL statements and relational database systems.
    • Understanding healthcare applications and the needs of patient care providers.

    You would benefit from having:

    • Technical proficiency in Reporting Workbench and Radar build.
    • SQL Server certification is preferred.

    The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Cedars-Sinai has received multiple prestigious awards, including Newsweek’s 'World's Best Smart Hospitals 2024' and CHIME Digital Health Most Wired Level 10 certification.
