Data Analyst I

Central New Mexico Community College is looking for a Data Analyst I to join the Enrollment Services and Student Success department. This role focuses on leveraging data insights, enhancing software applications, and collaborating with the IT department to improve business processes. It aims to streamline operations and aid in effective decision-making, particularly in academic technology and process improvement.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop procedures to address complex business problems considering technological constraints.
• Collaborate with IT staff to create, upgrade, and maintain programs, databases, and reports.
• Edit and manage project documentation including test plans and business process models.
• Provide training and support for end-users and ensure data entry standards are met.
• Participate in software application development and testing new systems and upgrades.
• Perform data analyses and create standard reports on operational statistics and performance.

This role requires you to have:

• Associate's Degree and two years of related experience or relevant certifications.
• Experience with Ellucian Banner, Salesforce, or Workday configuration and reporting.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience in Higher Education and business analysis processes.
• Proficiency with SQL, and report writer tools such as Argos, SAS, and Toad.
