Centurion Consulting Group, LLC is looking for a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join their team in supporting the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office within the Department of Defense. This role is crucial for facilitating data-driven decisions via robust data pipelines, with a significant impact on national security initiatives. The engineer will focus on the secure and efficient transfer of information across varied environments.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Configure and ingest structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data into capabilities meeting mission requirements.
• Maintain data transfer operations, ensuring security and monitoring system health.
• Automate configuration management and stay updated on ETL technologies.
• Develop independent solutions optimizing architecture and cost-efficiency.
• Leverage expertise in data engineering technologies and Cloud environments.
• Engage with functional groups to prototype ideas and drive innovation.
• Maintain web scraping tools as part of the ETL process.
• Implement scalable and efficient coding solutions.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of experience or Master’s with 3 years.
• Experience with Big Data systems such as Apache Spark/Databricks.
• Proficient in ETL processes.
• Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or MilCloud 2.0.
• Knowledge of DoD STIGs and process automation.
• Experience with multiple coding languages.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.

You would benefit from having:
