This role is crucial for influencing product, data science, and marketing strategies by processing data from various streams. The team aims to create valuable ecosystems for customers, brands, and Chewy itself, maximizing reach and showcasing advertisers' product offerings.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead the strategy, design, and operations of marketing databases and ML operations
• Recruit and train employees, managing performance expectations
• Oversee daily operations of the MarTech stack, including data infrastructure and AI platforms
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define company-wide data truth sources
• Address and improve data issues across systems
• Stay current with technological advances and industry best practices

This role requires you to have:

• 10+ years in data engineering and 5+ years in marketing data engineering
• 3+ years of Python experience
• Experience in Data Infrastructure and technology roadmap execution
• Strong SQL expertise and data warehouse proficiency
• Experience with ML practices, cloud computing, and visualization platforms
