The OSD Resource Data Analyst will work closely with leadership to optimize resources and financial processes.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collaborate with OSD leadership to refine position resourcing processes.
- Develop and manage the position allocation model, analyzing trends and managing appeals.
- Support budgeting processes aligning with OSD and district financial priorities.
- Conduct budget analysis, track costs, and ensure compliance within the OSD.
- Analyze expenditures and grant funding to enhance financial efficiency.
- Monitor budget variations, identifying risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Create financial reports and dashboards, ensuring timely and effective communication.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of two years of experience in data analysis or business operations

Employees must establish and maintain residency within the City of Chicago within six months of the CPS hire date. The role demands adherence to analytic practices established by the Data Governance Council.
