The Data Analyst role is pivotal in assessing and analyzing data processes, requiring an understanding of data journey and tools like Python, Spark, and Snowflake.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Engineering and Business teams to understand requirements and validate using automation frameworks.
• Create automated test cases and validation steps to ensure quality.
• Develop automation framework modules and solutions.
• Resolve data quality issues using established procedures within the project area.
• Integrate disciplinary knowledge with industry practices to make recommendations.
• Identify inconsistencies in data or results, define business issues, and formulate recommendations.
• Execute regression and sanity testing suites regularly.
• Assess risk when making business decisions to safeguard Citigroup, its clients, and assets, complying with laws and regulations.

This role requires you to have:

• 0-2 years of experience in Hadoop or Big Data environments
• Knowledge in Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Hue
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, Snowflake, Ab Initio ETL
• Familiarity with Quality Management tools like ALM, Zephyr, JIRA
• Experience with Autosys or relevant scheduling tools
• Knowledge in UNIX and scripting
