Sr Data Analyst

Citizens' Enterprise Data and Analytics team seeks a Sr Data Analyst to spearhead the creation of comprehensive data solutions that address complex business needs. The analyst will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to design and implement robust data products that support Citizens Financial Group's goals. This role plays an integral part within a team dedicated to delivering high-quality data results for internal clients.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Engage in all stages of the Data Product lifecycle.
• Gather requirements, analyze sources, and conduct data quality checks.
• Develop data objects and functional specifications for ETL jobs, APIs, and reports.
• Perform unit tests, validate data, and manage User Acceptance Testing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and follow change management processes.
• Leverage agile methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with Data Quality teams to implement controls.
• Register metadata in the enterprise repository.
• Create documentation for data lineage and transfer controls.
• Monitor data product performance and drive improvements.
• Enhance Data Product frameworks and update operations manuals.

This role requires you to have:

• 3+ years of data analysis or engineering experience
• Proficiency in data profiling, validation, and quality assurance
• SQL expertise with capabilities across diverse databases
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Advanced understanding of data management and statistical methodologies

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with AWS services like S3 and Redshift
