Crime Data Analyst

The City of Wichita is responsible for public safety and is seeking a skilled Crime Data Analyst to join their team. This role is crucial for analyzing crime data to support the police department's operational and strategic goals. The successful candidate will work closely with law enforcement professionals to develop and implement strategies for addressing crime trends.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Conduct tactical, strategic, and intelligence crime analysis.
• Collect, analyze, and present data on crime patterns and trends.
• Support police administration with strategic and tactical data analysis.
• Develop and revise processes for improved efficiency and resource deployment.
• Instruct and assist staff on crime analysis and data retrieval.

This role requires you to have:

• Strong analytical and data processing abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ESRI ArcGIS.
