COLSA seeks a PowerBI Data Analyst to collaborate with their Army customer, meeting business intelligence needs by creating data models and transforming raw data into meaningful insights. This role involves close work with a dynamic team to develop decision-making products for senior leadership. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Integrate data from diverse sources to assemble necessary data elements
• Develop and maintain intricate data models for analysis and reporting
• Utilize Power BI to design dashboards and interactive reports
• Define and monitor KPIs with specific objectives
• Analyze and present data in reports for decision-making
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and schedule tasks
• Create, test, and deploy Power BI scripts for deep analysis
• Utilize Power BI for DAX queries and functions
• Formulate charts and document data with explanations of algorithms and models
• Employ SQL queries for optimal data analysis and visualization
• Craft briefings to enhance data comprehension using filters and visuals
• Evaluate current ETL processes to innovate new systems

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years in related field
• Active Secret security clearance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and Power BI
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau and SAP
• Understanding of Microsoft BI Stack
• Proficiency in data analytics and software development
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server BI Stack tools such as SSRS and TSQL
• Strong analytical thinking and report creation skills
• Capability to enable row-level security
• Understanding of Power BI application security models
• Ability to execute DAX queries in Power BI desktop
• Advanced data computation skills
• Effective communication skills
