CommuniCare+OLE, a union of two reputable health centers, is a network of federally-qualified health centers providing comprehensive care across Napa, Solano, and Yolo Counties. The Data Engineer role exists to support the organization's data needs and ensure high-quality care delivery to the community. The Data Department, led by the Data Analytics & Programmer Manager, is vital in managing data-related projects and supporting various department needs.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for data reporting and software solutions.
• Lead meetings for data-related and software projects, outlining objectives and timelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain software and data infrastructure.
• Collect, clean, transform, and monitor data for reporting and performance improvements.
• Write, validate, and document SQL code for data integrity and quality assurance.

This role requires you to have:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
• Project management skills.
• Strong database design and management skills.
• Experience with Git for version control.

You would benefit from having:

• Familiarity with PowerBI or Tableau.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems.
• Experience with FQHC reporting.
