The Community Health Trust of Pajaro Valley is seeking an Accounting and Data Analyst to support the Director of Finance. This role ensures financial data accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial operations. The successful candidate will contribute to the team's success by managing financial workflows and providing critical support across various departments.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Conduct routine accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Ensure financial records comply with GAAP and internal controls.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Reconcile bank, investment, and credit card accounts.
- Support audit preparation and ensure timely submission of documents.
- Provide data modeling and analysis to aid financial decisions.
- Update the chart of accounts and manage accounting system data.
- Assist in preparing budgets for grant applications.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate revenue allocation and reporting.
- Improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the organization's mission.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar field.
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Sage Accounting or a comparable system.
- Advanced Excel skills with complex formulas and data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
