The role involves collaborating with the Research, Evaluation, and Data team to facilitate secure, accurate, and accessible data migration and optimization through AWS. The position supports the company's efforts to gain insights into serious issues within sports.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead data migration processes within AWS environments like Athena and Snowflake.
• Build and enhance data infrastructure for secure and accessible reporting.
• Write and manage complex SQL queries and reporting schemas.
• Develop and monitor APIs to ensure seamless data ingestion.
• Create KPIs, dashboards, and reports to maintain data integrity.
• Implement data validation to meet privacy and security standards.
• Collaborate with teams for federal grant reporting and dashboard automation.

This role requires you to have:

• Exceptional SQL expertise including data architecture development.
• Strong experience with AWS, including platforms like Athena and Snowflake.
• 5+ years in data engineering or a related degree with applicable experience.

• Experience with BI tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Skills in developing and managing large-scale data pipelines.
