Continental Resources is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their Applied Analytics and Insights (AAI) team. This role focuses on enhancing data analytics capabilities by developing ETL processes, maintaining data pipelines, and supporting databases. The team aims to improve efficiency and effectiveness of data solutions within the organization.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement structured SQL data tables to capture model and scenario outputs.
  • Establish data organization and retention standards for the AAI team.
  • Design and build automated data pipelines to reduce manual workflows.
  • Create Spotfire dashboards and ArcGIS portal maps/apps for data delivery and analytics.
  • Develop enterprise solutions to replace redundant excel workbooks and shape files.
  • Enrich the AAI database by identifying, cleansing, and filling data gaps.
  • Mentor and train new AAI Analysts on technologies such as FME, SQL, Databricks, and Spotfire.
  • Build relationships and solutions with business customers across the organization.
  • Lead initiatives to set corporate standards for datasets and best practices for AAI solutions.
  • Utilize Big Data infrastructure and spatial data for ready-to-use datasets for analytics projects.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to streamline data delivery.
  • Perform data capture processes to support analytics efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This role requires you to have:

  • Intermediate skills with data and analytics applications like Spotfire, Power BI, Databricks, and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data integration principles and techniques
  • Programming skills with SQL, FME, VBA, Python, and R
  • Database development expertise
  • Aptitude to learn new concepts and technologies
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship and collaboration skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, delegate, and lead projects
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Familiarity with applying statistical methods
  • Ability to see big-picture solutions with an enterprise mindset
  • Proficiency with data standards like data quality and virtualization
  • Detail-oriented with ability to synthesize large data for executive presentations
  • Familiarity with E&P operations and related data types

You would benefit from having:

  • Master’s Degree in a related field
  • Experience with large, complex initiatives and enterprise solutions implementation
