In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Evaluate and clarify data requests from different business sectors
- Write queries within PostgreSQL to produce accurate and complete data sets
- Communicate query results and their underlying premises to stakeholders
- Conduct thorough analysis and normalization of large data sets
- Clean and normalize data using Power BI, PostgreSQL, and Excel
- Report new data findings and structure complex data sets
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the data

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, Economics or related field
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- 1-2 years of analytical and problem-solving experience
- Proficient in building SQL queries
- Experience with PostgreSQL
You would benefit from having:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a data analyst
- Advanced knowledge of Python or R
- 4-5 years of experience using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Ability to demonstrate the use of analytics in business decisions
