In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using tools such as dbt, SQL, and Python.
- Create and manage trusted datasets for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and stakeholders to develop optimized data solutions.
- Enhance data quality through improved collection, documentation, and validation practices.
- Use version control and CI/CD methodologies for reproducibility.
- Optimize query performance and data transformation for speed and cost-efficiency.

This role requires you to have:
- 1–3 years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
- 1–2 years of experience with dbt, SQLMesh, or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience in the cannabis industry or startup environments.
- Comfort with version control tools like Git.
