Current is looking for a Data Analyst to join their Banking team and drive key initiatives in Credit Risk and Product Analytics. This role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights through descriptive, diagnostic, and forecasting analyses. The successful candidate will work closely with product, finance, and analytics teams, contributing to the development of data-centric strategies.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Establish Looker as a primary analytics tool and build reusable data models.
- Validate datasets to support business strategies.
- Generate insights to improve performance and standardize metrics.
- Define success metrics and collaborate on experiments with product teams.
- Partner with credit risk teams to develop underwriting policies.
- Leverage credit bureau datasets for strategic development.

This role requires you to have:
- 3+ years in data analytics or business intelligence.
- Expertise in SQL and building data models in BI tools (preferably Looker).
- Experience in dimensional modeling and data visualization.
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning.
- Programming in Python.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with data modeling in dbt.
- Background in fintech, banking, or B2C environments.
- Knowledge of credit risk or credit bureau datasets.
