CyncHealth, a statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE), is dedicated to transforming healthcare through community collaboration while safeguarding medical information privacy. The Data Analyst will play a critical role in advancing interoperability and improving healthcare.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Gather and interpret data using statistical techniques
- Analyze health data from various sources including HIE, PDMP, and SDoH
- Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies for optimizing statistical efficiency
- Acquire data from primary and secondary sources
- Collaborate with the data architect team to maintain databases
- Validate data sets for completeness and build automated SQL scripts for data warehouse metrics
- Enhance efficiency and productivity through process analysis and cooperation across departments
- Map data elements to corresponding health data standards
- Develop interdepartmental relationships to align strategies and business processes
- Perform statistical analysis to aid leadership decision-making
- Support business analysts in translating business requirements into technical requirements
- Create use case scenarios and testing requirements for data validity
- Conduct source to target data mapping exercises
- Develop analytical tools and reports to measure performance and track organizational progress against health outcome measures
- Generate ad-hoc reports for data analysis and validation
- Ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of information
- Model CyncHealth’s values and Code of Conduct
- Perform other duties as assigned

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics with responsibilities in data mining, visualization, analysis, and reporting
- 1+ years of experience in a health data role (managed care, population health, or health insurance)
- Advanced analytical and visualization skills
- Advanced communication skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and principles
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Advanced SQL and programming skills (SQL/R/Python)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced use of open-source visualization libraries/packages
- Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in Tableau and PowerBI
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and attention to detail

You must be authorized to work in the United States. The job involves working from the La Vista, NE office with standard office hours, and there may be extended hours to meet operational deadlines. It requires light physical activity such as exertion up to 20 pounds occasionally.
