Denver Health offers a unique opportunity for an Analyst II, Data Analytics to join the heart of Denver. The role focuses on supporting Epic Cogito Reporting Suite and integrating third-party data, playing a pivotal part in the IT Data and Analytics team. The team’s aim is to deliver efficient, scalable, and intuitive solutions that align with the organization’s commitment to providing quality health care services.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize effectively, collaborate with application analysts and report consumers.
  • Participate and guide system changes through design, build, testing, and documentation.
  • Create design specifications for new reports and datasets.
  • Provide break/fix support for end-users, managing error reports and work queues.
  • Lead evaluations and delivery of changes to existing systems or workflows.

This role requires you to have:

  • Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing technology expertise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Epic reporting tools.
  • Epic certification or equivalent proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Data literacy with the ability to interpret and transform raw data.

You would benefit from having:

  • Experience with healthcare clinical operations or financial workflows.
  • Experience with A/R systems for financial reporting or EMR systems for clinical reporting.
