Disney Music Group (DMG) serves as the premier music hub for The Walt Disney Company, handling all facets of music commercialization and marketing. This includes recorded music, publishing, and concerts. The role exists within the Data & Analytics team to build capabilities that enhance the understanding of how various strategies impact product performance.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop models, frameworks, and algorithms to resolve business challenges across music, publishing, and concerts.
• Execute experiments to evaluate content, product, and marketing strategies.
• Create simulations for business opportunity quantification and risk assessment.
• Apply machine learning and statistical analysis to large datasets to detect audience behavior patterns.
• Collaborate with DMG Data & Analytics team and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Technology teams in solution discovery, design, and QA processes.

This role requires you to have:

• Minimum 3+ years of data science experience.
• Supervised and unsupervised learning techniques application experience.
• Causal inference methods knowledge.
• Ability to derive insights from data for model development.
• Proficiency in SQL and numerical computing languages like Python and R.
• Experience with data mining in distributed systems.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
