In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Identify and implement data analytic approaches to advance department goals.
- Acquire, merge, and evaluate datasets for quality and utility.
- Utilize and automate data manipulations to enhance operations.
- Apply descriptive statistics, predictive analytics, and machine learning to extract insights.
- Use inferential statistics to explore causal relationships within data.
- Develop intuitive graphics for data visualization.
- Create data documentation to ensure reproducibility.
- Contribute innovative ideas and feedback for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with methodological and open science best practices.
- Communicate findings to various stakeholders.
- Disseminate scientific insights across MPD and government bodies.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.

This role requires you to have:
- Proficiency in data analytics and scientific methodologies.
